Still Water Lodge is Glen Lake Camp & Retreat Center's new conference center.
Nestled on seven acres of beautifully landscaped property on the Paluxy River, Still Water Lodge provides the perfect retreat setting. This 35,000 sq ft addition to the Glen Lake Camp and Retreat Center is conveniently located near the town square in Glen Rose, Texas, where our guests can enjoy the slower pace that country living offers.
While dining in the Café Rio, guests enjoy a breath-taking view of the well manicured landscape and the tranquil waters of the Paluxy River. Whether strolling down by the river, sitting around a campfire, or participating in meetings in one of our river-view meeting rooms, the Still Water experience is geared toward renewal and relaxation.
Upon arrival, the guests of Still Water will be greeted at Still Water's covered drive. The interior furnishings and design of the building are upscale, yet tailored to the needs of all market groups. Once checked in, guests will be welcomed by a comfortable and relaxing room. Our strategically located small group meeting spaces give each guest easy access to their rooms. The peace and tranquility of Still Water not only reminds our church groups of the beauty of God's creation, but it also provides a sense of a worthwhile investment in time and funds giving visitors the ability to focus on the purpose of their visit - spiritual growth.
While most hotels arrange their in-room furniture to center guests attention towards the TV screen, Glen Lake understands its guests are here for something more meaningful than the latest movie. Still Water accommodations are here to support Glen Lake’s overall mission – to provide an inviting atmosphere to our guests through Christian hospitality and programming. For this reason, Glen Lake has elected not to include televisions in any of the rooms in Still Water Lodge. Televisions are available in various areas throughout the building.
