Glen Lake Camp & Retreat Center

Wow!  We have just completed the Summer of '08 camping season.  I want to thank each of you as parents and guardians who entrusted your children into our care.  Glen Lake Camp & Retreat Center has been a vital part of ministry to children, young persons and adults for numerous years and the future only seems to get brighter as we turn to God for direction and guidance.  With an increase in the number of campers coming to Glen Lake this summer, we are ever evaluating and improving our service and ministry to campers of all ages.  We are ready to begin the planning process for next year's summer camp and will make every effort to make it "the best year ever."  I personally want to thank the dedicated permanent and summer staff of GLC for the awesome job in making this summer the "best ever."  Additionally, it touched my heart to see the love and care that our volunteers and deans brought to the camping experience each week.  Without all these persons in place, Glen Lake Camp would only be another summer camp.  It is truly the people who make this place their home, for a few days or for a few years, that make this one of the best Christian camps in the region.  We are the people of God.  We are United Methodist.  We are Glen Lake Camp and Retreat Center.
