What to Expect

High School Camp is for campers going into 9-13th grades fall of 2025. This is an overnight, weeklong camp. Camp activities include worship, fishing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, crafts, archery, zipline, small group meetings, and specialized breakout sessions. (13th grade denotes the summer after completing Senior year).

Purpose & Activities

As a teen there are many paths you could travel on. Join us this summer at our High School Camp to learn and hear about the path God desires for you.

Each day, campers will awake and experience FUN they will never forget. Our program hires talented and dedicated Summer Staff and we also welcome volunteers from camper’s churches and communities to be part of the Glen Lake experience.

Lodging & Meals

Campers stay in climate-controlled cabins with same-age peers, supervised by trained leaders. Standard cabins house 14-20 with community bathrooms; deluxe cabins accommodate 18-20. Roommate requests available. Meals are kid-friendly, nutritious, and accommodating of dietary needs.

Glen Lake hires spiritually mature college students with a heart for Jesus, service, and adventure. We recruit from various colleges, conduct background and reference checks, and provide extensive training, including Ministry Safe. Our Summer Staff lead with love and encouragement, supported by Junior Counselors and Volunteers.

My Boat Story

The biblical boat stories, particularly Matthew 4:18-22, have had a significant influence on my life. I love that Jesus called ordinary people to leave their boats and follow Him, and I believe it is my purpose to help each person find their own calling. This past year, I got my first tattoo and was deciding what to get. My daughter suggested a boat because my wife, Michelle, has waves tattooed on her arm. Instantly, I thought about the fishing boat mentioned in this scripture and how it deeply connects to my own personal mission. My daughter, Sophie, then drew a boat that represents me, my family, and my calling to ministry. This is the image that she drew for me.
