Program Director Search
Glen Lake Camp & Retreat Center on the beautiful Paluxy River in Glen Rose, Texas is seeking an experienced, Program Director and ready for your passion and vision to connect people to God. Carrying on the mission established in 1939, we welcome over 16,000 people to enjoy our 498-bed campus to form authentic relationships through summer camp and retreats for families, children, youth, college ministries, non-profit organizations, and specialty groups. The management team strives to love deeply, host graciously, and serve intentionally. Under your leadership, over 1,000 summer campers will experience Jesus Christ through the program you prayerfully implement! The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of all Glen Lake Camp program content, and seasonal staff management. Staff Purpose: The Program Director seeks to lead and serve as a faithful part of God’s work in and through the Ministry of Glen Lake. The
Program Director serves on a ministry team dedicated and committed to a team approach to the ministry entrusted to us.
Job Summary:

The Program Director is responsible for the development and execution of all Glen Lake program content, programs, and seasonal staff management.

The Program Director must develop program curriculum, recruit, hire, and train seasonal program staff.

The Program Director is responsible for the recruitment, evaluation, and training of all volunteers for camp programs.

The Program Director also provides support for the management staff, sales department, and marketing of camp programs.

The Program Director leads a team of dedicated persons in order to provide safe, fun, and Christ-centered camp experiences.
